About us Windows on pain

Get involved

PMRI’s internationally recognised research about pain management has improved the lives of thousands of Australians by reducing their acute, chronic and cancer pain. PMRI invests hundreds of thousands of dollars into its research program every year. While PMRI researchers win competitive government research grants, PMRI relies on the generosity of individual and corporate donors to continue its research program.

There are many ways that you can become involved with PMRI to help us to improve the lives of Australians through our research into the latest methods of managing pain.  You can make a tax-deductible gift, regular donations, become a corporate partner or sponsor, make a memorial gift or bequest, or become a volunteer.

Windows on Pain is an initiative put together to raise the level of public awareness on chronic pain and its impact on people’s lives, work, relationships and self esteem. This is the first major awareness and fundraising campaign launched by PMRI. For more information on how to be involved in this campaign, please visit the Windows on Pain website on www.windowsonpain.org.
